Man Utd Board Finally Set Timeline For Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s Sack

Timeline Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s Sack

Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has seen his side struggle in the Premier League so far this season, losing two of their first three matches.

The Red Devils have started poorly this season, though, and have just three points from a possible nine so far.

United have always been keen to give the Norwegian time and know sacking him wouldn’t be a popular choice, especially given an erratic transfer window.

But according to the Daily Star, Ole has until the next international break in November to turn things around.

Should United’s situation continue to worsen then Ed Woodward may bring in Mauricio Pochettino, who remains highly-rated at the Theatre of Dreams.

The Argentine has been out of work since leaving Tottenham in October last year, and he’s said to be eager to take the job, believing he has what it takes to steer United back to the top of the Premier League.

Solskjaer, for now, retains the board’s backing.

But he’ll be seeking a huge improvement and, speaking after the Tottenham debacle, vowed to steer his side back onto the right track.
